  3. Personal Golf Tracker (PGT) is a comprehensive program that lets
  4. you keep a close eye on your golf game.  It has many features to
  5. help you improve your game while providing an easy way to keep a

  17. Personal Golf Tracker has the following features:

  19. 1.    Keep track of your scores.
  20. 2.    Display your personal best, by hole, or by nine, on each course
  21.         you play.
  22. 3.    Display average scores on par 3's, 4's and 5's.
  23. 4.    Compare your scores to Par, Bogey or Double Bogey on a hole by
  24.         hole basis.
  25. 5.    Graphically show the percentage of time you shot Par, Bogey or
  26.         Double Bogey.
  27. 6.    Show percentage distribution of Eagle, Birdie, Par, etc.
  28. 7.    Graphically display your high, low and average hole by hole.
  29. 8.    Track six special aspects of your game of your choosing.
  30. 9.    Graphically display your trends of six aspects of your game of
  31.         your choosing.
  32. 10.    Print a hard copy of the rounds you've entered.
  33. 11.    Print summaries of your performance based on critera you select.
  34. 11.    Enter rounds, golfers, and courses up to memory limits.
  35. 12.    Analyze rounds before and after a given date.
  36. 13.    Calculate handicaps and handicap scenarios of your choosing.
  37. 14.    Check your consistency on each hole or on rounds played.

  67. IBM or compatible computer with VGA or better graphics display.

  73. Installing Personal Golf Tracker for Windows 3.1:

  75. To install PGT for Windows, make a directory on your hard drive and
  76. change to that directory:

  78. cd\
  79. md\winpgt
  80. cd\winpgt

  82. unpak the files and copy them to the \winpgt directory:

  84. pkunzip a:\pgtw1.zip
  85.  
  86. The following files should now be in the \WINPGT directory on your
  87. hard drive:

  100. You must also have a copy of VBRUN200.DLL which is normally stored in
  101. your Windows directory. If you don't have this file you can find it in
  102. the MSBASIC forum on Compuserve in the Visual Basic Section.

  105. Setting up PGT in Program manager:
  106.  
  107. From Program Manager do the following:
  108.  
  109. Click File from the main menu bar in Program Manager.
  110. Click New
  111. Select Program Item
  112. Under description enter:Personal Golf Tracker
  113. Under command line enter: c:\winpgt\pgtw.exe
  114. Under working directory enter:c:\winpgt
  115. Click OK.
  116. To start Personal Golf Tracker, double click on the PGT icon.

  118. To register your copy of PGT:

  120. Printout the file REGISTER.TXT.  To do that from DOS type in the following:

  122. copy register.txt lpt1:

  124. To print the registration form while running the program, click on Help and
  125. then click on Print Registration Form. You can also click on Register on the
  126. Registration Reminder 
  127. screen.
